2020年的第一場活動在台中，我們與小林老師一起用回收木料做了木製鑰匙圈！課程開始，老師解釋說今天使用到的材料原本皆為學校的廢棄課桌椅木板，經由整理才成為一條一條的材料。利用膠合的方式拼接木材，顏色不一的材料就組成一片獨一無二紋路的木板。雖然這次活動製作的物件較小，但老師說利用相同的方式，可以做成像是砧板等等日常生活中常見的製品。 首先大家先將木條裁切成喜好的長度，再裁切的過程中，鋸子的鋸條常常斷掉需要更換，因此老師也講解了使用鉅子的安全守則。裁好的木頭在選好紋路後組合後以白膠黏合，並用夾子或橡皮筋固定，風乾後再用砂紙細磨。...

此次課程以台灣傳統為主軸，從介紹鬼月傳統文化為開端。大朋友老師從講述台灣傳統鬼月的各種習俗例如搶孤、燒王船、中元節祭拜等，向孩子們介紹台灣文化中對待“靈魂”的不同方式。再講到其他文化中類似的節日，像是墨西哥文化的亡靈節或是日本特別的百鬼夜行傳說。除此之外也和孩子們討論到點香、燒金紙對環境的影響。孩子們提出許多不同的替代方案，我們也許可以用更善待環境的方式來表現我們對靈魂的尊重也說不定！...
