今天我們與孩子們共度了一個充滿創意與驚喜的萬聖節主題活動！在輕鬆愉快的氛圍中，孩子們透過食物與遊戲學習激發了想像力與手作能力。

我們先為孩子們介紹萬聖節的歷史與文化背景，接著便進入了大家翹首以盼的料理環節。孩子們化身為小廚師，製作純植萬聖節主題餐點。從水果沙拉、眼球蘇打，到番茄新豬肉義大利麵、眼球新豬肉球，以及紅絲絨骷髏頭蛋糕，每一道料理都充滿了萬聖節的創意色彩！
從備料、切菜到親自炒菜，孩子們每一步都充滿了專注。雖然有些孩子對炒菜的熱氣感到不適應，但他們依然樂在其中，享受著每一個瞬間，體會到了滿滿的成就感。
接下來，我們來到了刺激又有趣的「恐怖箱」感官挑戰！孩子們一個接著一個將手伸進神秘的箱子，通過觸摸猜測裡面模擬的人體器官。這些物品的觸感有的軟綿綿，有的滑溜溜，讓孩子們感受到驚嚇與驚喜的雙重刺激，激發了他們的觸覺聯想。有些孩子反應超級靈敏，能輕鬆猜出箱內物品，這個遊戲不僅讓他們學會了如何用觸感認識世界，還增進了對人體結構的了解。
在整個活動中，孩子們沉浸在萬聖節的快樂氛圍裡，氣氛熱鬧非凡！

Adding a bit of plant-based nutrition and fear into delicious food made by kids must be one of the best ways to celebrate the spooky month of October!
In a community, nothing serves better as a form of engagement than time spent dining together; now making an incredible and unique meal that was fun and scary to see and delicious to eat is just a treat. Splitting into groups to complete individual steps of pasta worm creation, bloody sauce, skull red velvet cake, oozing eyeballs and floating baby heads, the halfway digested meal was subjugated to a frightful event post lunch.
We set up our horror boxes in different areas throughout the community center and outside, having everyone touch and guess the body parts that might be inside. We attempted to use as much upcycled or discarded food in them as we best could and in the reveal, went over bits and parts in a quick lesson on human anatomy. The expression on their face and the experiences was endearing and unforgettable.
For our creative educational workshops, each and every step of the curriculum we take time to map out and test trial, prepping to ensure the best possible experience while learning. We hope others can join us as we continue through life together in our weekend and regular weekday programs!
