一直以來，除了年底佳欣冬日慶典的一系列課程，蘭嶼幾乎算是我們每年固定第二盛大的活動，從事前的寫計畫、籌措經費、找老師、備課、準備材料、郵寄，到搶機票、車票，最後課程到來時的種種突發狀況、危機處理，每一次都是歷經千辛外苦、困難重重，在過程中也常常遇到很多挫折，這一次也不例外，我們一群人因為蘭嶼季風的影響，在開課前竟然班機取消、船班停駛，被滯留在台東機場，不但如此，早早寄出的工具與材料也遲遲沒有到件，就在我們都打道回台北準備跟孩子們取消這次課程的時候，聽到了船班“可能”有機會行駛的消息，不忍心讓期待已久的孩子失望的我們，二話不說又再次前往...
