在南港,我們與熱情奔放的樂齡們迎來了一場特別活動由我們的一位「大朋友」— 大倫,也是一位專業拳擊教練來帶大家動一動!

一開始,其實我們心裡都有些猶豫:樂齡們真的會參加嗎?他們可以負荷這樣的運動強度嗎?但這些疑慮很快就煙消雲散了,當大家戴上拳擊手套時,氣氛立刻嗨起來,甚至還得輕輕阻止他們開玩笑地互相「出拳」!
我們從暖身開始,讓身體慢慢進入狀況,也降低運動傷害的風險。接著教練帶著大家練習基本的拳擊技巧,當我們出招口令時,他們的反應超乎預期,動作俐落,毫不遜色。一邊輪流實戰、一邊休息,大家都大汗淋漓,運動量十足,熱情滿滿,甚至有不少樂齡們一輪接一輪,搶著和教練過招。兩小時過去,大家依然神采奕奕——要知道,一般拳擊課最多才50分鐘呢!
其中一位樂齡邊打邊回憶自己年輕時也曾打拳擊,笑容滿面,整堂課幾乎沒休息,還興致勃勃地挑戰坐在旁邊的朋友們。
這堂拳擊體驗,不只是一次運動,更再次打破我們與樂齡們對「年齡限制」的想像——只要有合適的調整、足夠的耐心,還有被賦予機會,每個人都能做任何事。這正是嚮光所相信並致力實踐的目標。
課程最後,我們用一份溫暖餐點收尾:由 Güt Co. 團隊用心製作的植物鮪魚沙拉手指三明治,搭配他們招牌的 Kefirer 發酵飲品,為這段充滿力量與笑聲的時光畫下完美句點。

「舞動身心」旨在提升身心健康,嚮光認為擁有健康的身體與學習知識同樣重要,舉辦多元的運動課程,比如舞蹈、肢體開發、球類運動及拳擊等等,鼓勵孩子勇敢嘗試,並從中認識自己,學習團隊合作與運動家精神,以培養孩子信心和自尊。






With our boisterous group of older friends in Nangang, we thought it would be amazing if one of our Big Friends who is a professional boxing coach led a workout for them!
There were definitely some hesitancy in all parties on if our older friends would participate and if so, the level of engagement they would be able to handle. Needless to say these fears we held were quickly dispelled. As soon as they got their gloves on we had to hold them back from mock punching each other.
We began with basic warms to get their bodies into champion shape and also to minimize the risk of injury. They practice the basic one two punch, we challenged them to practice the right punches and swipes pending on the combo called out and they passed with flying colors. Taking turns in “fighting” and resting, everyone got in a great workout and there was no stop to the line up of our friends who wanted a turn to box with the coach. Their stamina for the entire two hours was impressive – most boxing classes end after 50 minutes! One of the students recalled fondly to his younger days when he boxed as well and he had a huge smile on his face the entire time, never taking a rest even challenging the friends seated next to him.
We really look forward to hosting more types of workshops that continue to exceed ours and their expectations on what older friends can and cannot do – we are all capable of everything with the right adjustment, patience, and most of all, opportunities. This is what Bright Side Projects provides.
They ended the class with a delicious plant-based tuna salad finger sandwiches, specially individually made with love by the staff at Gut Co and enjoyed with their signature Kefirer drinks.
