This is a great chance to meet some of the kids in Taipei. Space is extremely limited and I hope to attract some basketball buffs! Need a few Helping Hands, including a photographer, a translator (English to Mandarin when Aaron talks to the kids), and 1-2 others on hand to assist with various tasks in registering kids, snacks, hanging out with them. Aaron will give a talk to the kids afterwards and do a short Q&A. Interested? Sign up now!

More on Aaron Pettway 關於 “威戈” :
Before playing professional basketball, Aaron Pettway joined air forces for which he served for four years. He then played for Oklahoma State University of the Big 12 Conference. At 6’11” he first played internationally in Poland for the 2006-07 season with Kager Gydinia, where he had a strong rookie season leading the league to rank in the top 10 in the league in rebounding.
After not playing for a full season due to a foot injury, he signed for the 2009-2010 season with defending Latvian champion BK Ventspils which was competing in the Euroleague qualifying round. Due to a strong season in Europe, he played for the Washington Wizards in the 2010 Vegas NBA Summer League.
In November 2013, he signed with Kinmen Kaoliang Liquor Team of Taiwan’s Super Basketball League (SBL). He won first place at the SBL All-Starts Dunking Contest this year.
還沒開始打籃球之前，（ Aaron Pettway）在美國空軍服務4年。進入籃球界是在俄克拉何馬州立大學讀書時被挑選參與12大聯盟參與比賽。身為211公分高，他第一次在國外打求是從2006年跟波瀾國Kager Gydinia隊。為了腳受傷，他到2009年才從新回覆打籃球，及在歐洲聯盟很優秀的表現允許他2010年回美國打NBA暑假賽代表華盛頓奇才隊 (Washington Wizards)。從11月2013年，他來台灣加入金門高粱隊。今年在SBL明星賽灌藍大賽獲得冠軍。
